Main purpose of the job:

To help with the growth and expansion of our Company, we are looking for a flexible and versatile Marketing Manager who will be responsible for producing valuable and engaging content for our target audience. 

Your role will see you drive compelling campaigns, develop strong marketing strategies and design effective social media plans, you will also be responsible for monitoring and analysing market trends and developments and working closely with our Digital Marketing Specialist.  You will report on key successes, areas for improvement and new ideas to your Manager and colleagues. 

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage all marketing for the Company and activities within the marketing department.
  • Develop marketing strategies in line with Company objectives.
  • Overseeing the Company’s marketing budget.
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material.
  • Overall responsibility for brand management.
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns, improving lead generation and measuring results.
  • Overall responsibility for brand management.
  • Preparing online and print marketing materials.
  • Monitor and report on effective marketing communications.
  • Create and use a wide range of marketing materials.
  • Maintain effective internal and external communication to ensure all relevant people are kept informed of marketing objectives.

Key skills:

  • Have excellent communication skills written and oral.
  • Have good social media skills
  • Possess excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident in report writing.
  • Deliver presentations to an audience.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.
  • Microsoft Office skills, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.


  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a marketing related role preferably within the pensions or financial services industry.
  • Educated to degree level.
