The 2019 award season descended upon us last week. With corks popping and red carpets rolling you'd be forgiven for thinking that we're talking about a Hollywood affair. However, last week’s glitz and glamour was supplied by two giants of the financial world - The 2019 International Investment Awards and the Global Financial Services Awards 2019. 

And what a ceremony they both gave! On Wednesday evening the beautiful Gibson Hall was the setting for the International Investment Awards, marking the accolade's 20th year. Thursday saw us treated to the ever-stunning Grosvenor House Hotel by the Global Financial Services Awards.

This year, Momentum Pensions was nominated for an impressive three honors across the two evenings in the following categories:

• Best International Pension Plan - The 2019 International Investment Awards
• International Retirement Provider and Best International Retirement Product - The Global Financial Services Awards

Both events were an enormous success, with the best and the brightest in the international financial sector attending.

On Wednesday evening we are proud to say we were Highly Commended at the 2019 International Investment Awards in the Best International Pension Plan category.

But it was Thursday night's ceremony at the Global Financial Services Awards that was particularly special for us, seeing Momentum Pensions take home the prize in the International Retirement Product category for our International SIPP.

Group CEO Stewart Davies praised the team’s hard work and dedication. He added:
