Group Head of Administration & Investments
Having worked in a senior management capacity for several financial institutions, Susan brings a valuable blend of professional and academic credentials to Momentum. She is a member of the Irish Institute of Pensions Management, and has overseen the development of their Diploma in Pensions Management and Policy. A graduate of National University of Ireland with a first-class honours degree in Mathematics, Susan also holds a Masters in Financial and Industrial Mathematics from Dublin City University as well as a Professional Diploma in Financial Advice. Susan is currently completing the final part of the Chartered Tax Adviser qualification with the Irish Tax Institute.
Head of Administration - UK
Paul brings thirty years’ experience in financial services to Momentum. He has held various administration, management, trusteeship and technical roles during his career, working for a major insurance company before joining a SIPP, SSAS and ISA platform provider in 2003. He spent seven years there as head of technical services, leading a team which provided all aspects of technical, regulatory and legislative support to staff and advisers. He also has valuable experience in business process improvement, change management and training.
Assistant Head of Administration
As the assistant group head of administration, Matthew oversees the administration of Momentum’s Malta-based pension schemes. Prior to joining Momentum, Matthew worked with an international wealth management firm within their UK business and pensions department, which enabled him to gain valuable exposure and knowledge in the UK pensions and QROPS sector. Matthew is an honours graduate of the University of Malta having read a Bachelor of Commerce Banking & Finance.
Emma’s role is key to helping Momentum to deliver on our high service standards and promise. She has been working in pensions since 1999, where she began with a multinational general insurance company. Moved into the SIPP/SSAS sector in 2004, Emma has been working with the UK office of Momentum since 2007.
Senior Manager - Technical & Claims
Helen is able to apply nearly thirty years’ experience in the crucial technical and administrative servicing of Momentum’s pensions. Her career has spanned both consultancy and in-house environments, managing administration teams in multiple locations in the UK. She worked in various in-house pensions administration roles before moving to a large financial service organisation in 1997 and worked on issues surrounding insolvent company pension schemes. In 2004, Helen became the service delivery manager for a large third-party administrator and today, she is able to provide expertise in people management, client management and process and change management.
Pensions Team Leader
Prior to joining Momentum, John spent three years working with an established QROPS and QNUPS provider based in Malta. During his time there, he oversaw a team in the administration department, which provided him with valuable and practical experience in this Pensions sector. This experience has developed further with his roles in Momentum, which include working with the investment team in analysis, providing sales support within the sales team, and his current role of Pensions Team Leader within the QROPS administration department.
